The 11th annual ‘Mopar Sunday’ on August 4th at Willowbank raceway, is fast approaching. 


We are pleased to announce that Mopar Sunday is now proudly presented by Northstar Fiat Chrysler, your Mopar and Jeep Specialist in Redcliffe. Northstar Fiat Chrysler are passionate about all Mopar's and are very keen to get behind the event.

For 2013 The Sunshine Coast Jeep club have joined in to host the Mopar Sunday Jeep Display. As Jeep Appreciation Day is not being held this year, Mopar Sunday is the perfect venue and time for a Jeep show and travel ramp display/competition. This will be an excellent compliment to the 150 cars drag racing and over 250 cars on static display in the 'Show n Shine'. The entire show now features Chrysler's, Jeep's, Dodge's, Plymouth's, Valiant's, AMC's and all other cars produced by Chrysler.

The Jeep display and travel ramp competition is free to enter once you’re in the gate with dedicated Jeep trophies and prizes.

Drag racing is open to all Mopars, old and new including jeeps so get out on the strip and have a go! There is also a swap meet, merchandise stands and trade stalls all in one spot. Its the perfect place to check out the racing and displays, pick up some memorabilia, find that part you’ve been looking for or just catch up with fellow Jeep enthusiasts. 


Michael Bowen from Jeep Action is heading up from Coffs with a crew featuring a variety of Jeeps including the Jeep Action JK-8.


One of last years crowd favorites, Christine Steffens will be racing again at Mopar Sunday 2013. As the first and only licensed female Nitro Funny Car driver, she will be racing her supercharged 496 cubic inch, Hemi powered Nitro Funny Car down the strip traveling at over 450kph. Running on Nitro Methane, her wild machine produces between 6000 - 7000 horse power and can reach 400kph in just 200 metres!



Don't forget to look out for special giveaways on the day from Northstar and make sure get in the draw to win.



Gates open at 7am for an 8am start and the event winds up at 4pm.

Looking forward to this big time. For people that haven't been before, this would have to rate as the biggest day on the Mopar calendar.
Expecting to see some of the heavy hitters out of the Mopar stable not only on display but running the quarter mile........
Not forgetting the jeeps, might see some Hemi powered JKs again.

Will be a good day out
Ill be racing a week old srt8 grand Cherokee. Cannot wait to see what a srt8 will run over the 1/4 mile.

Quick question for you Kalani, I know your going to find this hard to believe, but for some reason my 11 yo daughter isn't too interested in displays or drag racing.

Do you know if there will be any rides for the kiddies this year? My daughter would like to know.
