G’day all. I had always wanted to own a V8 before the communists ban them. I did a bunch of research and came to the conclusion that a WJ is bloody good bang for buck, so I bought one. It’s a 2002 GC limited with Quadra Trac 2 and a very fruity exhaust note. Loving it!

Nothing like a good V8 , however it will keep you poor in NZ with their petrol prices! got a 2014 GC SRT here in Aus that likes a drink.Also got 2012 GCOverland diesel in storage in Christchurch that hasnt been driven since March last year due not being able to get over and back due to covid.May have to put it in a museum.! The Sth Island has great off road areas and camping spots.I am sure you will get a lot of good info from this forum .

Cheaper to run than the 3.4V6 90 series Prado we used to have (as long as you don’t give it the beans all the time!)
