Fitted up an acoustic/heat protector. It’s a self-adhesive carpet. like material, very tricky to put on. But looks really neat. Got sick of looking at the old torn up one.

Installed a Redarc Tow Pro Elite V3 over the weekend as I'm picking up a new camper trailer next Saturday.

The unit is mounted on a bracket under the steering wheel. and the switch I put on the dash above the speaker.

The install is easy but Redarc tell you that it will self calibrate as you drive without a trailer. What they don't tell you is that without a trailer, there is no indication that it has calibrated so here I am doing laps around the block waiting for the LEDs to indicate is done. After wasting fuel, I got on Youtube and it's there the Redarc tell you it won't indicate without a braked trailer attached.

I wasn't happy that Redarc has upped the price to $350 over the V2 but it had to be done.

I picked up the new camper trailer over the weekend. A part from a missing pole for the tropical cover which will be replaced by them, I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

It tows well behind the 3.8L but I need to adjust my polyair bags to level up the trailer a bit or get myself an adjustable tow hitch.

Added a Kings battery isolator over the weekend. I didn't want or need anything fancy as I primarily use solar to charge the camper trailer battery when camping. This is just to keep some charge in the battery when on the move when the fridge is running.

I never worried about it with my old camper but this one has a fairly small battery and no room to mount anything larger.
