I would only agree with some off this stuff!
Both authors seemed to overlooked ,to a large extent, the major culprit on lifted live axle vehicles ,which is the angle of the front lower control arms.
I spent quite a bit off time researching the problem both on the net & through experimentation ,trying one thing at a time.
The only foolproof 'cure' on lifted vehicles is to reduce LCA angle with long arms or drop brackets.

So what if I have adjustable LCA's?? No good?? Do you think I still need to get drop brackets?

Thanks

Yes I agree that the control arm angle contributes turbomart. But there are a lot of jeeps with higher than 3" (on short arms) with no DW or bumpsteer what so ever, mine included.

Lifted: Y

If lifted, how many inches: ONE
Brand: Ironman
Additional mods to front end RTC damper
Castor angle dunno yet
Toe in angle dunno yet
What do you think fixed the DW:
Are you happy with this lift kit off road? yes
Are you happy with this lift kit on road? not if it is the cause. bought the car with the lift.

not as bad when loaded but certainly not acceptable!

Lisas grand had a definate occasional dw ,hasnt occured since the OME suspension even with 50 mm spacers in rear.I assumed replacing a few things with new has made the difference(front swaybar was done at same time)

Turbomart - have you the link to your thread about the drop brackets? Can't seem to find it...

Cheers
Chumby.
