Problem is I dont think its designed for right hand drive.
Nothing wrong with using the grinder to actually improve your rig.

I installed the ORE skids cause I bent the crap on my rear LCA brackets, the only scary thing was when the angle grinder attacked my index finger.

Off road evolution do an excellent one too that proects the control arm mount also. This a mod i am really interested in doing as the stock mount is way too low and the bottom of the shock cops a pounding when crawling over rocks. It's just kinda scary hitting your axle with a grinder.

Have taken to mine with a grinder a few times, wait till the JKs get a bit older and then we'll see some fabbin/cuttin happenin, dont think i could bring myself to butcher a brand newy like i have mine.
