Are you all running 20s? Or has anyone fitted the Nittos in an 18? There's an LT275/65R18 that looks about right.
Does the 275/65/18 fit in the spare tyre well? I'm going to go Toyo open country A/T2's or if I can get the size maybe general grabber srl's when my GC finally arrive.

32 inch tyre will fit without the plastic bins but not 275 wide. Some people can get 265 in but might need to go to 255/70/18 which is 32inch.

Really disappointed with Goodyear Duratracs ( 265/60/1.

8,000klm of Simpson desert, Birdsville & Oodnadatta track, + fair bit of Vic high country & the tread blocks are peeling off, some big sidewall splits & one puncture.

Puncture was just a weird one .... something through the thickest part of the tread...... easy fix with a tyre plug.

But the sidewall splits look like tyre at least 2 x tyres will have to be replaced !!

On a positive note, the grip in mud & high country shaley / rocky climbs is outstanding.

As previously mentioned the tyre width is the prohibiting factor in this one.

My plan is to leave the factory spare in the back and pick up a spare stock Laredo 18" wheel and extra AT for the roof when I'm off-roading or touring.

For day-to-day the stock spare is fine, but I really don't fancy unloading a family of four's worth of crap from the boot to change a wheel in the middle of a road trip.

I've taken them on sand (Stockton) and they were fine. Cost $410 each about 18 months ago.
$410? I have just had a set of these put on my 20" wheels for $295 a wheel fitted and balanced.

WITH THE 275/65 18, WHY NOT INSTALL THE arb COMPRESSOR FROM MURCHISON AND LEAVE IT IN THE REAR WHEEL WELL AT 5PSI.

CANT BREAK THE BEAD AND YOU CAN JUST PUMP IT UP?

YOU STILL HAVE TO PUT THE ONE YOU TAKE OFF SOMEWHERE AND IF YOUR AWAY LOADED WHERE YOU GOING TO PUT ITIF IT DOSENT FIT IN THE REAR WHEEL WELL.?

I tried a completly deflated 275/65 in the rear wheel well and lid still wont close, I even tried a strap around the outside diameter but my E load rated LT tyres wouldn't budge.
