Default Clevis Pins

Ey guys just following up a write up mod. and got a question!

Does anyone know what a clevis pin does?? and where you can get it from???

Bunnings or Repco had never heard of them. maybe used for specialty use???

any clues??????

Engineers Edge is a great web that you should subscribe to, it will really help you if you don't work in an engineering environment or have ready access to real boffins.

I was at repco today and they had them, but not many. On my way to a fastenings place tomorrow for mine.
They are like a bolt, but instead of thread they have a hole in the end for a split pin.

Exactly what I want em for. To replace the lower bolt in the sway bar links.
