hows shes looking now..
havent done alot of mods lately.. new driveshaft in the rear (custom built and tuff) invested in alot more gear and tools for self maintainence, which has made life easier.. more importantly, have been wheeling her pretty hard, at least a couple times a month, and everythings holding up.. have had no major problems since last years Jambo... was repairing things every trip for a while lol.

recent addition has been the tonnue and wrap around, really like it for wheeling, and looks, Leaks alot tho

Although its going well.. i have alot more id like to do.. always a ever changing thing for me.. but love the jeep, and enjoy building it. even if its slowly. Problem is now im left with only bigger mods left to do..

these include.

LA- tri link conversion (unsure at this point if i want a kit, or a custom build to suit a stretch at the same time) advice?
transfer case upgrade, or terralow 4-1
Hi-hood
stretch rear, modify flares to suit
37s and 17s
diffs (my stock diffs seem to hold up well, i think they are fine for 35 inch radials personally- just would like to see them handle 37 inch bias treps.)
cage (possibly even a sport cage to begin with) not wanting to comp it currently, tho things change, so want to set it up for anything down the track.

a couple of questions for anyone who has the knowledge to answer.
Buying a LA kit, ie rubicon. will that suit a stretch? or would it just be easier to have my own arms made up, and brackets to mount where they are needed, and run a flat skid plate?

As far as terralow goes.. once done, will the jeep handle sand dunes and snow? (im not to fussed on bog holes) but muddy tracks in general?
or upgrading to a selectable transfer case a better idea in the long run?

With the rear stretch, has anyone done a comp cut style rear, with some sort of detachable mud flap to keep things legal?

im aware its going to be tuff to keep it on the road after all is done, but the build is going to hopefully stay pretty much the height it is now, and will run a set of muds, in 35 inch for road/sand use.
plan is to start the ball rolling on the mods early next year.
any suggestions, please, im all ears.

DIY the LA if you plan to go that way ...
thats the mistake i made with the RE kit

there's so much good shiat out there to do it once and do it right
especially as you know you want to stretch and long-arm at the same time

ya just gotta know where to look

Thats a great ride but personally with the dunes I reckon you should not bother with a TLo and save the penny's for an Atlas/Stak
