Default Smittybilt barwork

Hey everyone, it's that time to buy the barwork for the tj.

I've been searching a fair bit and have decided to go with SMITTYBILT for all my barwork. Just a few things on this..

Where can I buy these and can I get them cheaper by buying all at once? I was on jeepkonnection and for the lot (front, rear w/ tyre carrier & sides) it's just over 1700 and who knows what delivery will cost me.. I'm sure if I waited a bit I can get similar work done by a friend for a lot cheaper.. but I dont want to wait haha.

Any info would be great as to where I can go bargain my way for a great deal on these.

Cheers, Cameron..

I emailed Smittybilt not long ago about Australian supplier and they replied that Procomp is the registered supplier. I would leave it open to the vendors on ausjeep though I'm sure they can sort you out and you will be helping fellow ausjeepers too.

I looked at getting some Smittybilt sliders for my JK and while in the end they didn't actually fit (long story), Jeep Konection were by far the cheapest Australian seller. They were also really good to deal with, doing all they could to help sort out the problems I had and when nothing would work they accepted the sliders back and re-imbursed me without an issue. Definitely worth giving them a ring.

Double Black Offroad stock Smittybilt.

Here's something to consider...I had the rear bar for my TJ - holes didn't line up. I have the sliders for my JK - holes didn't line up.

They'll need adjustment.....I wonder if that's why Smittybilt has the reputation as Sh**tybilt

Form what I've heard the larger suppliers buy their stock directly from the US so pays to shop around.

Thanks for the input. Emailed jeep konection so hopefully receive a reply by the weekend. "Shitty Bilt" lol maybe but I do like their barwork.

I have a few fabrication friends that could help if they don't line up (hope that's not the case though), which is payable via a carton..

What about other bars? Anyone got ideas that are similar to the ones I like? Custom barwork in brisbane area? Currently have an ARB winch bar that I really dont like and will put up for sale on here once I get new ones.

Cheers blokes.
