Hey guys just wondering if anyone has taken the molding off the side of a post 97 cherokee as mine keep going grey instead of being black so was thinking of taking them off.

I havent but from what I understand those plastic parts down the side are notoriously hard to put back on after taking off!.. Jeep wants $120 labour to put a flare back on for me.
my flares and mouldings faded with (old?) age. Instead of taking them off, try Maguires Trim Detail. Available at Supercheap Auto, it brings faded plastic back to new....yes new. And it lasts more than a week unlike most others. Give it a try....but dont let the $14 put u off.

yeah they are my fathers jeep was out in the outback on a trip and a local guy backed into the door of the jeep and they had to get the door fixed and repainted but they did not stick the plastic back on right and it fall off so it looks funny with just the drivers door missing as we have not put it back on yet but was want to see what it looked like with out the rest of them on as well
