Inner axles, any good?
I was in the middle of changing front axle uni joint yoke today which had lost a cap and found the inner axle has some damage.
Is it a waste of time reinsatalling this axle? I have always planned to change it, but I have a trip planned very soon and if I change it now it means I miss the trip.
You might not be able to tell from the photos, but the ears are not deformed at all (that I can see by eye)
So do I reuse or replace?

I would give it a go...... but test it before you head off on a long trip. It should be fine. But it would be a b!^ch if it does go on a trip.

Hey Mods, just delete this thread if you like, seems to attract the spammers.
