Default 2" Lift

Just took delivery of the Mopar 2" lift springs from Jamie at Northern Group.

2 questions:

Do you need a track bar relocation bracket or adjustable track bar for front and/or rear with a 2" lift?
Do you need to change anything else, like sway bar end links, etc.

Just one other thing about these springs, because they are Mopar and you could get them fitted by Jeep on your new Jeep before you pick it up, and they are covered by factory warranty, does this mean you beat the new lift laws?

Hey mate,
If it is only 2 inchs you shouldnt require to change anything else, especially being a 4 door. I would consider changing other components if went beyond 3 inchs but otherwise the shift in axle would be miniumal.
As for warranty, just because it was fitted by the dealer doesnt guarantee warranty cover but it depends on each dealer. I have had no issues with mine but when i took it once for ESP playing up which was caused by the lift they had no issues in recalibrating it for me.

Can they recalibrate the ESP for Lift? mine has the OME 2" kit and has never had a problem with the ESP, but if the ESP can be recalibrated that means the new lift laws banning any lift on a car with ESP if they make it should not apply to cars with ESP as it can be modified to suit.

What I was getting at was that because it is a factory item and not an after market accessory it should not be affected by the new lift laws. As with Falcon utes, you can get a tradesman pack (or something like that) that has taller, heavy duty suspension.

So does a set of 50mm taller 'jeep' springs mean that it has not had an after market lift?

This the reply i got from Jamie. I asked similar questions. Your thoughts?

This special is Australia wide to all forum members, I can ship to Perth but unfortunately it will be at a cost if you give me your post code I can give you an accurate quote on freightage.
I have been informed by Chrysler Jeep when they released them that they will work with the original shocks. If you do use aftermarket shocks and you end up having a fault relating to the area then yes you may be unable to claim it under warranty. Now I checked on the Mopar catalogue for a Coil/Shocker lift kit but they do them for 4 doors only and they are very expensive. This is why I think Chrysler Australia decided to get the springs made here in Australia.
