Default Advice on a small easy trip in Brisbane please.

HI all,

Well, I am taking my brand JKU out on Saturday with Brisbane Jeep Club. Quite excited.

However, before I get out, my wife and daughter cant come along Saturday which is driving my little one crazy. She LOVES the Jeep, even made a book by printing pictures from the next, writing comments and stapling it all together. She is 6 and gone Jeep crazy but they have other plans Saturday.

So, I want to take her out somewhere Friday and I have no clue where to take her. It could be a dirt track with 5 puddles along it and she will be happy. Is there some kind of track, easy but offroad and preferably quite close to Brisbane area. Even if we only went for 30 mins or an hour but don't mind of its a bit longer. I just want to take her along something, especially being the very first offroad dig in the brand new car.

I appreciate any advice.

Cheers

Get your hands on the Dirty Weekends booklet mate .........fantastic drives in there if you only want light offroad work to begin with. It's easy to follow and there are plenty to choose from ........... Link to their website is http://www.dirtyweekends.com.au/

You could always head out to Mount Mee. Just past Dayboro and nothing that will have you worried, just don't venture too far off the main tracks. Hotdognz headed out there on Sat arvo and posted a couple of pics in the Queensland forum.

HI, Duck Creek Rd near Beaudesert is the normal answer to this question if you are on the southside - do the waterfall walk when you get to the top then turn around and do it all again backwards details in the Dirty Weekends book or probably enough details online to get you there, or ask on here for directions

Thanks guys. Might get that booklet. Sounds the go.

I was looking at those pics from hotdognz. Looked great.

Mt Mee might be a nice little run out with the youngin. I really want to encourage her as much as possible. A future Jeeper!! She can take me out when I'm in a wheel chair with diamentia and wearing adult diapers!!

Just dropped in to ARB Acacia Ridge and apparently they don't make that booklet any more. Bugger!

Hema should be bringing one out next month.

Greg did you get out with your daughter ??, if not and your free next weekend why don't you grab the family and well hit Mt Mee together its a easy drive and we could do some small blue tracks (moderate) but I doubt and worse than what we did at Cityview.
