KYB Top Strut Mounts work fine in KL Cherokee
On one of the USA forums someone has posted that KYB Top Strut Mounts didn't fit - but I've fitted one to the LH side of our TH months ago with NO dramas or problems since - in fact now the OEM one on the RH side is making noise - so I'm kicking myself I didn't replace that side with KYB as well when I did the other one (headshoot).
Cost from Summit Racing as of today (March 9, 2021) is just over AUD $67 for each Mount / Brg Assy - and about AUD $50 shipping.
Shipping to Aus by Summit is REALLY quick, BUT they often take days or weeks to get the parts in before shipping them... For stuff they have IN STOCK you're pretty certain of getting the gear quicker than from interstate here in Aus - and it'll definitely be cheaper for the parts themselves. Bundling gear makes freight more reasonable of course.

RH is SM5814
Also, front camber CAN be adjusted to a certain degree - usually enough to correct uneven tyre wear - by rotating the top strut mounts - which are wedge shaped so rotating them makes the strut shaft rotate eccentrically around the strut axis - so you get both caster and camber change. The caster change is insignificant compared to the camber change.
You rotate the strut mounts by turning them in the tower with the metal top hat section. Remove the plastic clips then jack the vehicle enough that weight is taken off the mount inside the tower enough that you can turn the top hat (with large multi grips or a couple of pairs of vice grips etc.).
The direction of rotation needed for positive or negative camber can be worked out by standing in front of the headlight on whichever side you want to adjust - facing the vehicle - make a circle in the air with ur finger. With the top of the circle being the direction you need the TOP of the wheel to go, then that direction of circle is the flat rotation direction needed for the top strut mount - ie. driver side mount rotated counterclockwise for more positive camber and passenger side rotated clockwise for more positive camber - and opposite for negative. About 30 degrees of rotation per adjustment is a good amount to do it and then see how the tyre wears.
