You can get then without having to be split rims. Same goes for the tyres.

I got speedy rims 15x7 for $60 each. Painted them black before I got the tyres fitted. They were for a Ford.

so how do you stop the rub on the control arms
and also has anyone looked at the pro comp rock crawler steel range
what are they like?

i don't know if they are split. i know most armies and offroad services use the lower width tyre because it beats a wide tyre for grip in 90% of situations. (plus lower rolling resistance). only drawback is they don't 'float' on sand.
