I had the tune, exhaust, DPF delete, EGR blank and a high flow air filter.

According to before and after dyno figures, I gained 27%.

Cheers, Craig

You really should be looking a the percentage increases and apply those to the factory flywheel figures.

So in my case: 227/201=1.13 * 184KW = approx: 207KW
Peak torque: 750/700 = 1.07 * 580nm = approx 620NM

These numbers are not to far of other reports for tuned WK2 CRD's

Hope this helps.

Gus
As I understand it, a dyno reads hp and torque at the wheels not the flywheel obviously. Since there is always a loss of both hp and torque due to friction and other factors.....I still don't understand how a dyno can show more hp and torque at the wheels than the engine makes at the flywheel.

The dyno actually shows less HP (note graph is in HP not KW) and more torque, this all has to do with tire size, gear ratio, diff ratio and roller size the dyno, etc

Read this article if you want to know more: http://www.mainlinedyno.com.au/image..._THE_TRUTH.pdf

As Guus mentioned in an earlier post, it's not so much the actual Kw or Torque reading, it's the before and after percentage increase.

My torque increased by 27% as mentioned earlier, so let's say that the stock factory torque is 570Nm, add 27% = 723.9Nm.

Cheers, Craig

Default How is the Remap Done?

Does anyone know why the remap takes "all day." I don't think that 5 technicians spend 7 1/2 hrs assessing and teching-up each car. Any ideas what actually occurs?

They have to remove the ECM and then place it on a special jig to "unlock" it. This then allows them to upload the new program (Flash) to this ECM.
