Yeah Chris - seen it and talked to the guys there.

There is one available from Germany that gives far higher figures though. I'll see if I can track it down....

Got one in our WG demo.

Goes hard.

Uses less fuel.

Makes a little more noise.

What more could you want?

gidday salesguy
- if we fitted the chip to our 2003 or later Grands, this would then nullify our warranty - or can you qualify what the DC position is on the matter of chips?

I know a guy from Toowoomba who has one fitted on his 03 Grand Laredo 2.7L CRD, & he swears by it.

Short answer to the warranty question is yes, it does void the warranty. However, as Andrew at Berrima points out it takes 5 minutes to remove and doesn't leave a trace..... (but I didn't tell you that.....)

ECU re-flash's and stuff like this is good for its stealth factor but for those that care about the "what if's" and warranty, you may want to know that many modern ECU's log boost, air fuel ratios, rpm and throttle position amongst other variables so i'd find out about first. Even if it's only logging 30sec of data it'll be the last 30sec that's saved and all they'll be interested to see.

I'm not knocking the idea, i'm all for it but some might care so am letting you know. My old rexy went much harder and used less fuel with an aftermarket ECU tuned properly than the cater for all people in all conditions maps in the factory ecu.

Go on Kel just do it mate....you know you want to

Remember this is a 'piggyback' system, you are not replacing the ECU it lives upstream of the ECU and changes the values going into the ECU- advantage of this, all safety measures still fully operational, the system will still only work within its defined maximum parameters, only much closer to the absolute limit than the factory settings.
