Have to agree with AussieCJ7 & Kiwi If you have the owners manual check out Page 89 (for a 2001 XJ) Front Bracket has two holes the front hole is for towing only the rear hole is used for the tie down Personally if I didn't have a H/Reece tow bar &ARB bulbar I would fit the tow hooks
