I've had my GC with quadra lift for over two years and it hasn't missed a beat (the suspension that is) and I wouldn't consider buying another GC without it.

As everyone else has said it's great for making access in and out of the vehicle better for shorties, makes it easier to clean the roof and load the roof racks but it comes into it's own if you tow because of the auto-levelling and how easy it makes hitching up. With a 2t camper in tow and fully loaded jeep including a boot loaded with 40l engel, 2kva generator, portable hot water, chainsaw plus some luggage the thing sits perfectly flat.

The only thing I don't like is when it's set to ORII it tops out all the time and makes some harsh noises and thumps but in reality you rarely need this much lift as ORI gives you enough lift for most circumstances

Cheers,
Jason.

it is really useful when you drive off road outdoor with quadra lift if you spend most time in city driving.

Hey guys interesting reading. I Have a question for you though. I bought my limited without the QL and am now thinking I made a mistake. If I put a 2" lift in it is going to limit me in areas like car parks with height. But on the other hand when I go offroad I would prefer some extra clearance. Does anyone here have any info on whether you can get QL installed after you have bought the car?
Cheers.

I reckon it would be cheaper to trade into a new car.

I guess I am old school, I like things simple.
Our GC has springs and shocks, it has a 2" lift on the front only
and Polyair bags on the rear to assist when towing the camper.
I find it to be a great all round setup for touring and off road, but
then we do have the JK for the rougher trails.

Cheers
