Default Need a clarification on the Mopar 2" lift

My Rubi goes back to the dealer on Monday to have some of the items they felt they would leave off the car fitted. One of these is the Mopar 2" lift, I have done a search on here and have some mixed reports. I paid $2500 for this kit so am expecting it to be fitted with the P5155207 which according to the Mopar Australia performance catalog comes with Mopar springs and Bilstein shocks.

Can anyone with this kit confirm this information for me one way or another please?

Link to the Mopar AU catalog - http://www.mopar.com.au/Pages/UserCo...e/Jeep_Ram.pdf

Edit - If not what shocks do they supply with the Lovells, does it come with all the other bits and pieces depicted in the Mopar catalog?

No idea but if you can get your money instead and spend it on one of the many lifts offered by the vendors on this site, you won't regret it.

I'd see if you can cancel the suspension upgrade ASAP!! From my understanding, the Aussie Mopar lift kit is simply springs and shocks and does not include all the goodies from the Mopar kit from the States!

Take that $2.5k to one of the vendors on AJOR and get a complete kit. Here is the same gear on eBay:

Springs:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-M...d5eba1a&_uhb=1

Shocks:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Jeep-JK-W...9fb5ada&_uhb=1

As you can see, it does not add up to $2.5k and from all the reviews on AJOR, the kit isn't worth anything and almost all members have all swapped out the crappy Mopar "kit" to a quality kit from a reputable aftermarket supplier.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

I would certainly be asking for the coin and save the install. You will generally be dissatisfied with that kit....so much better options aftermarket than what mopar offers.

Naaa not at all, I hope that everything gets sorted for the bloke and more importantly, it's not too late to tell em to jam their "Genuine" Mopar lift kit
