Well ive received my piece of perforated tube, its 500mm long but wondering if its long enough.
Exactly how much will the volume of the muffler affect the sound? im trying to keep it as quiet as possible as i hate nothing more than a V6 thats sounds like it has open headers.
Obviously if its the size of a "hotdog" it wont do bugger all but would it get to a point where the size of a "straight thru" designed muffler wont be effective if that makes sense? not going to do much the size of a 44 gallon drum, right?
