Default Fuel Pump Relay

I just checked on Recall RO9 which applies to my 2011CRD, parts are still not available according to MOPAR recall, has anybody had this done on their vehicle?. CJD seem a trifle slack on this one as it is listed as a safety recall.

The RO9 is only being done to the CRD vehicles that are displaying fuel starvation on startup so unless yours has these symptoms and it has a tech case open on it it wont be done how ever the Petrols are being done because if the pick up pump looses power it will run out of fuel which is a major safty issue when its being driven the CRDs wont run out of fuel as they will syphon the fuel from the tank where as a petrol cant do this .

Yeah, mine is booked in too, now signs of problems, looks like they are doing it as a matter of course.

How long should it take Ozjeepster? Can I book it in and hang around sipping free cappuccinos for an hour or do I have to leave car for hours? My car was in last week getting other work done, don't want to lose it for a day again .

Edit: just spoke to Knox Jeep who reckon 6-8 weeks for parts. Not much comfort when I'm about to spend 4-6 weeks wandering around SA desert with caravan behind.

Was taking an hour with the old harness we had to build but the new units are already assembled and can be installed in 20 minutes .
