Default 2.7crd coolant max?

Hi,

Just did the thermostat on the Jeep. I can see the "min cold" mark on the top tank, what is the max or correct
level to fill to?

I just filled mine and it spits the excess out the overflow as it heats. You cannot really overfill it. The pressure cap releases it.

Also, there will be a little air that will burp up so filling caters for it.

Yeah OK.

What's the valve on the top of the radiator for? Did not seem to do anything when functioned. What is the correct position for it?

Also how do you know the system is bled properly? Couldn't work out how to prime engine side of thermostat.

Thanks

Don't know. Mine too. Don't know. [emoji16]

I fill mine, warm it up, drive 100m, low coolant alarm sounds, top it up, job done.

The valve on the radiator is useful for filling the system. I've never had any issues purging the system of air when I've refilled if I'm honest. It seems to take care of itself pretty well overall.

There is a MAX Cold fill line on the overflow tank, it's pretty high so I don't think you could overfill the system.
