Just carry spare driveline components like axles... diffs...driveshafts... transfercase... haha no dramas!

This looks very interesting, how do the gear ratios match up with the engine/trans combo to give the best cruising torque and fuel economy balance, you may find that this may be more economical on the open road compared to the I6!!!!!

I look forward to seeing it come together....

The ratios should work out well as I am running large diameter wheels (Std JK Wheels) with the standard XJ ratio (3.55). Currently at 110 KPH I am doing 1800 RPM. Perfect...

Excellent though that is with the Jeep's overdrive, how does the T700's overdrive compare?
Also of interest would be how do the other gears compare say 1st for crawling and downhills?????

the overdrives are nearly identical between the AW4 and the 4L60E (.70 & .75 if i remember). rpms shouldnt change much on the highway

GM 4L60-E 4-speed Automatic Transmission
First: 3.06
Second: 1.63
Third: 1.00
Fourth: 0.70

Gear Ratios for the AW4:

1st: 2.80
2nd: 1.53
3rd: 1.00
4th: 0.75
