Default Cutting the Hardtop

Ok, so I'm cutting the Hardtop in half to make it shorter... Basically I'm going to cut the middle part out and join the back onto the front... It will be about 500mm long...

That's done now, no problems there..

I was thinking of making the back part two pieces and join it around the roll bar... You can see in the following picture I've marked where the roll bars come out... Problem I'm having before I continue is on the right side where the wires go through to the window... Is it possible to remove the wires inside?

It looks as is they're going to pass right through where the hole for the roll bar is going to be...

Any suggestions? Can I remove the wires in there somehow?

EDIT: Why arn't the pictures showing...?

No wonder I couldn't get the wires out, they're clipped in inside...

I've cut the corners out instead... It fits around the roll bar now... Hopefully I can find some time through the week to feather out the joins, then next weekend I'll join it back together.

Will do some more tomorrow... Havn't had much time through the week... Work too much.. Tomorrow I will sand the joins back and feather them out.. I also need to get some rubber to seal around the Roll Bars... Hopefully I can glue it up on Sunday and then shape the glass window...
