Short creek crossing from 4 day camping trip last month. Didn't pay attention to name of creek or track but it was somewhere between Kevington ,Woods Point & Jamieson. I couldn't see the best line coming back, hence hitting the rock. Going over was much smoother. Am trying to get a video of that from the guys I went with.

Pick your line before you cross and check depth especially a river crossing.

Had already done that and been across the other way very easily. Myself and a worked turbo Patrol on 34 Simex went over to check the track and back. Out of 11 vehicles, only the 2 of us would give it a go.
I probably shouldn't have had the front locker on as I would've turned tighter around the submerged rock and ended up with a better line on the way out.
These are the cars I went with out the front of the Kevington pub. They were all lifted to some degree.

This was the Border Track 3 months ago. A bit of a build up for our Cape York trip code-named SIDETRACKED.
*WARNING* contains Nissan.
