Default Rainbow Beach
Hey all,

Can anyone tell me what the condition of the Freshwater Track is at the moment? Also are Mudlo rock exposed? Planning to head that way next weekend..Thanks

The only track I know of that is a no go, is Alieshas? I was up at rainbow last weekend, and the guy I was talking to said Fresh water was ok. But I could be wrong.

Just got back from Rainbow,

All tracks open and in good condition. Low tide was at 11:15 and access was possible both directions from the elisha track. (1st time in months!).

We we able to drive right to Double Island point on the Rainbow side, saw some whales playing, very cool.

Mudlo rocks are ok for about 2 hours each side of low tide, possibly longer, but care required.

The freshwater track is chopped up from the school holidays, but no problems, just rough in spots.

Brilliant weather up there today, and the beer was cold at the RBSLC!

The freshwater track is the usual pretty hard easy run, you can only get off the leisha track at the lowest of tides as the water is most times right up to the exit, the rocks are pretty well covered with sand at the moment, this is what we experienced early september.
