Default DRL light discolouration

Gday everyone
I've read in various posts about discolouration in the DRL lights in wk2,s & thought I'd check mine. My lights have what looks like heat damage to the top third of the lens.
Is this the issue that others are having?
Are the lights being replaced under warranty & are the dealers doing it without argument?
Thanks

That's the damage.

A few dealers are doing it without argument, others are playing dumb and need to have their arm twisted. CJD are aware and will honour it within the warranty period.

Default Re: DRL light discolouration

I believe that's what some on the forums have had replaced under warranty.. I bet every 2011-2013 will have this issue, and recurring issue without fail. I don't believe the head lamps are revised parts to withstand the heat from the damn DRL. Alternate was to have it replaced and change to a cooler globe led.

Unfortunately my dealer didn't do anything when I mentioned it. I also CBF.

Go back to your dealer they will change them under warranty.
I have had mine changed twice now no questions asked. The first time the DRL globe holders were not changed and they fogged up at the top again. The second lot where changed with new DRL holders and new globes, just take it back they will fix it for you.
