Already done over 150km I am sure it should be settled in by now. It was over 40mm higher when I first did it and that came down to where it is now after about 5km.

Seems bizzare I know. But the only way I can rule the panhard out is when the new adjustable one is fitted next week.

Took the electic fan out and gave it a good clean to get the Cape dust/mud off of it. It now spins nicely again without the terrible vibration it had. Finally I can have my aircon back

Cheers
Steve

533 drivers, 517 passenger (15mm difference). It seems as though they have settled in a bit more and are sitting at more reasonable difference. But still the 15mm higher drivers means now I need to shove a nut on the link under the bushes so that it doesn't tension up one side.
It seems like I may have been wrong in thinking the panhard was the problem.
I will be interested to see if religning the front axle next week reduces the gap even more. But from what you are saying it would probably be unlikly.

new axles, bearings and seals in, all went smoothly bearings went in easier than i expected. The noise in the rear end persists so its off to a diff specialist in the next few weeks, not too worried about that. More pissed off about the brakes...new master cylinder, rebuilt calipers, new pads, new discs, new brake hoses...they are worse than ever eh that's a job for tomorrow

edit: put the front end up on ramps tonight in preparation for tomorrow, also as a troubleshooting step I clamped off the rear brake line and there was much improvement in the pedal feel so I guess tomorrow I'll be stuffing around trying to get the rear brakes adjusted properly
