I want to use the factory wiring as it was easy to tap into the fog wiring at the rear for power. If I just use the switch it means running more wire etc

Cheers
Steve

I have a fuse box for my positive terminal and have my UHF, reverse lights, anti rust protection and a few other bits and pieces come out of it which got rid of all the annoying wires on my battery. Have the advantage of all the fuses being together then aswell. I earth all my stuff back to the battery so ideally I'd have something similar for the negative too but I just soldered them all into one big eyelet. Seeing as there's very limited space under the bonnet. My amp still runs on it's own 6 gauge wire and fuse tho...

That's exactly what I did first up, located the power to the switch when the headlights were on, removed that power and replaced it with AUX power. It would just blow the AUX power fuse, very odd, hooked it back up to the power switched by the headlight and all was good. Grabbed a battery for my multi meter and wil be having a look at the wiring diagram shortly to see why it could be blowing fuses when connected to any power other than that coming from the headlight switch. Open to ideas?

Cheers
Steve
