Default Gurgling Noise

Good Afternoon Guys and Happy New Year.

Whenever I accelerate I hear a Gurgling Noise, now ive noticed my turbo is pretty covered in oil and was wondering if maybe I have an intercooler leak?

Ive blanked off the egr so don’t believe the oil is coming from there. I did notice there was oil in the top breather pipe that went into the egr as well.

It happens every time I accelerate, so if I do a tapping motion with my foot on the accelerator the same happens with the gurgling.

I’ll try and record it but it only seems to happen under load not when stationary.

Any help would be great

Mine had a turbo leak and I thought it was something bad. It was just the clamp on the oil line at the turbo. I cut the end of the tube (it's rubber) and replaced the clamp. No more turbo leak, and a quick cheap fix.

Default gurgling

My ford courier that I use to have made a gurgling sound under the dash when you would rev it over 3500rpm. Seem to develop the noise after I had worked on the cooling system and if it sat around for a bit. The longer the drive the less it did it. I put it down to air in the cooling system rushing through the heater core all though I never 100% confirmed this. Just a though and could be completely off track.

Good luck with it.

Probably the oil seal on the turbo is failing. Try removing the intercooler outlet pipe & see how much oil is in the intercooler. Normally you get lots of smoke when the turbo seal fails. If I have the window down I can hear a crackle from the snorkel when I have my foot down.
