Default Unknown Oil Leak CRD

Jeep Commander 2007 CRD has been leaking oil over the past number of months. The following has been replaced. Engine oil consumption has gone up by 1 litre a week.

Oil Cooler seals
Oil Pressure sensor
Oil Filter O-rings
Crankshaft seal and sensor
Elephant hose
Rear main seal checked and is ok.

Any of suggestions would be appreciated.

With that amount of loss there should be visible signs of oil, where about is the oil pooling/dripping from?

I’m only just getting my head around my daughters CRD, and it sounds like u have done most of the usual suspects.

The oil filter housing has a gasket that can go bad. Have u checked/replaced this one??

One litre a week is a lot of oil loss. I’d be getting up on a hoist (maybe a local mechanic), cleaning up the bottom as much as possible, leaving it up for the day and trying to trace the leak back to its source. With a litre a week it will definitely be leaking down within 20 mins or so of cleaning it up. Without a hoist, you could jack it up and put stands under it or use some ramps. Might something simple like Axel suggested, or even oil pan ect....

Valve cover was what mine was. Leaked down the rear and I initially thought RMS.

On my daughters CRD, we have a mystery leak. I’ve cleaned everything, but very hard to trace, as it just seems to miraculously appear.
I’m going to use baby powder first to help track it, then a fluorescent dye and UV light.

Cheers,
