Just over 5 litres - buy either a six litre if you can get it, or a 5lt and 1 lt. The Z89a sounds right (can't be bothered looking!) I believe it is a shorter Z9, but twice the price!!

Re plugs, I found that with the right sockets and swivels I had no worries, but mine doesn't have a/c, so not sure if this would be different on yours or not.....

Good luck!

I have heard, but have not tried as yet, that Z9's work well as a replacement anyway. As I said have not tried as have a few z89a still in the shed so have not had the need to buy but will try the z9 in the future.

Oil and filter change, yep just over 5 L, just enough to make you buy a bigger bottle. Then again have heard advice to only fill up to the bottom Add mark, supposedly helpd stop rear main seal from weeping? So maybe 5L if done that way.

I'm not sure if you can get a Z9 on, that's why they use the shorter version.

Anyway, that's what I've been told!

On the ole 258, the Z30, same as ole holden, will fit but with enough engine movement it will bang against the chassis, shorter filter is cheap insurance.
Probably the same issue with the 4.0 long Vs Short filter. Sure for 98% of drivers and time will work OK.

Are you in the 98% or the 2% ?
