Default transfer case oil

Hi, changing my oils today, can anyone tell me what aftermarket oil to use in my quadradrive 2 transfer case NV245 ?

I bought some last week and after some research came up with...

Amsoil full synthetic tractor hydraulic/transmission oil 5w30



From the US but there are distributors all around aus. Ebay even sell the complete range and the bottles you are after come in a 1L.

Interesting, can you give as a link to where you found out about that being equivalent to the mopar oil?

The wisdom has been that there's no specs published for the genuine oil, so it's not possible to find equivalents. Aside from some "leaked" info from a Jeep dealer implying that the Mopar oil is rebranded 424.

Why not Mobifluid 424 it's cheap and readily available. It's what Mopar package and re-label as their genuine TC fluid. I used it for years in my Commander. When I did my research years back I found posted on another USA Forum a letter sent from Jeep USA to Jeep Italia on Jeep letter head stating it was the same stuff.
