Zero from WK2s, KLs, etc.

I think there's a couple of reasons for this:

1. KL's were slow to be accepted by traditional Jeepers - and lets face it, some never will accept them. I've never got a wave from a Wrangler while driving on any sealed surface, so I just kinda lost interest in the whole thing and don't even look for it now.

2. If it's supposed to apply to all Jeep drivers, you'd be waving every 20 seconds because they're quite common these days!

I kinda formed the conclusion that it's more of a 'Wrangler wave' than a Jeep wave - and there's nothing wrong with that.

In the TJ, its was rare that anyone waved. There was a local TJ owner and we'd wave as our vehicles were very similar to each other.

I find in the JK other modified JKs would wave but it was rare that a stock owner would. I have got occasional waves from other brands of 4wds on the road but never on a track.

Ive never had a wave from any other Jeep model other than a Wrangler.

In the street next to mine there are a couple of young blokes with modified 4wds, one is an older Cherokee and they are always out working on them. Everytime I'd drive pass they would just stop and stare which was getting a bit uncomfortable so I wave at them now.

I get Jeep waves from some other JK Wranglers in Perth but otherwise it seems to be random other 4x4's and campers on the open road

It's the jealousy making them stare. [emoji23]

I wasn't going to say that

I nearly put the white Cherokee into the Police several months ago. There was a person severely injured (I actually think they died as a result) in the National Park behind where we live in a hit and run with a white 4wd.

The next morning I was going to work and here was the Cherokee with the front stoved in and a smashed windscreen. The only thing that stopped me was the thought that I could be ruining this poor guy's life if I'm wrong.
