He said earlier that this was screwed to the rollcage.

Not sure I like that idea myself. I'd be more inclined to use 2 u-bolts around the rollcage that are done up inside the unit.

While I like the little computer fan in the top, I'd want to try and "water resistant" the unit, by having the top overlap the sides by 5 - 10mm, so when the top is down, a splash of rain/water/mud wont drip into it. Much like the lid on a toolbox does.

Not much use here, as everyone is a genius after the fact . .

The roof console wedges between the front windows plastic cover thing and roll bar,
there is a steel tab bolted to the top-back of the console that over hangs the roll bar. Then there is a few screws holding the tab to the console and 1 pop rivet in the top of the roll bar holding the tab on to stop side ways movement.

It’s very strong the way it’s up in there. It won’t brake at all

Also its not a comp fan just a cover from one for a little ventilation for the main unit of the UHF as the manufacture recommends ventilation. Not planning on driving in the rain with the top off or a million kph in the mud to get mud up there.

but yeh i like the console very much. looks sweet

What would you sell one of those roof consoles for? I would give you $125 cash?
