(Most likely could be one or both of two things, the NSS is dirty or the SM has burnt out the contacts, or if your lucky they are just oiled up and haven't burnt out yet. If you have never cleaned the NSS that would be a good place to start as it will fail eventually anyway if it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Same goes with the SM pull it out and wash out the oil if there has been a leaking oil filter adapter at any point.)

I have to ask, what is a NSS and where would I find mine?
Or a SM, Do I have one?
Cheers guys, I appreciate all the help I get on here.
AJOR has its own language but don't worry its easy enough to pick up.....

For those who selected the Ignition key as the fault, take a Gold Gtar out of Petty Cash. Testing had shown intermittently, no voltage at the ignition wire at the starter solenoid. But why no voltage was still a mystery. Found by pushing the key switch assembly in against the spring while turning solved the problem. As to the relation to heat, I am guessing either the current through the ignition switch was having an effect or more likely. the housing around & above the switch on the column is exposed directly to the sun and is extremly hot to touch. Either way, now need to rectify switch problem.

Thanks for posting this, Werd. Is great when trying to source parts overseas, to see if the LHD and RHD parts are different, and many many more handy things.
