Ah! OK, thanks guys. Just got me worried. The Jeep worked out pretty good after that without any ticking or popping noise. It did feel like it was coming from the rear diff though. There was no noise coming from the front, that's why I didn't think it was the CV's.

In terms of CV's, do you get the OEM ones from the US? I think I should buy a spare for each side, stock up just in case. Does anyone know whats the diameter of the front and rear axles???

I recently flushed both diffs and filled it with Redline which had the friction modifier in it already.

LOL @ Dave and donuts! Yeah, when I was up at Rainbow Beach, I did a fair few heli's and figure 8's (including spinning around in same place) in the sand and the HEMI was awesome. Sand was flying everywhere from all four wheels. But, yeah, I wish it could disengage 4WD and run only on the rears for some line lockers.

Default Update!

I found what caused the tick. When I was changing the front and rear brake pads last weekend, I thought to adjust the park brake as the handle goes up high. So as I was on the rears, pulled the rotor off and found that the shoes were causing the tick. Passenger rear shoe pads were shattered and the driver rear shoe pads unbonded completely and were just loose in there. About to order a new set from RA, $80 delivered for the mid price range ones and $100 for the dearest ones LOL.
