The hoses have been on for about 3 years now and no sign of any reaction to oil, heat, softening etc. In fact they are in excellent condition. I have the catch can fitted on the right hand side via a bracket on the roll bar, more room to fit there. Consequently the pipes are running across the back of the engine along the firewall so they are subjected to a bit of heat. You're right they are good for bends and I selected ones that had the bends I needed.
