Default TUBOJEEP - nissy 720

Dad has the XJ Jeep and ive also joined the 4x4 fraternity but not with a jeep (cos i can't afford it LOL).

I've bought a 4x4 Nissan 720 Dual Cab Ute with a 2.2L diesel 5spd gbox.

don't hate me for not getting a jeep, this was based purely on the fact i needed a work car and a ute was also helpful and it was cheap

But at least i share something with you guys... hehe... 4x4ing... :P

ive never really been out 4x4ing on my own, but im looking forward to hitting the local beaches or rivers for some fishing etc...

Welcome TubJeep.
I have owned one of those 720's myself years ago, petrol gussling thing, (it was werse than any jeep I've had on fuel) but it served it's purpose as a work ute well enough.

this ones a diesel and if my calculations are correct the tank is either 50 or 60L? if its a 50L its going to use less than 10L/100kms as I have almost passed 500kms since a fill up and still have more than a 1/4 on the gauge. If its a 60L tank im sure i can get another 100kms out so its not bad still at 10L/100kms?
