Note the 'ae' hood only has one washer nozzle as well. Current genuine should have two, and they aren't mounted in the hump but on either side.

That said, I'd pick one up. I won't buy anything AEV again. I wanted to get some of their logo stickers to match my new $1500 AEV hood, as they didn't supply any in the box. Couldn't source any locally, so checked their website, yep there they are, available to anyone, but they don't ship to Aus. Contacted them and told them my story, offered to pay for postage (they just need to stick them in an envelope...) - nope can't do it.

So someone on here generously supplied a .eps file of their logo, which I was able to send to a signwriter on ebay who made up some custom ones for me

But AEV can go suck some in future.

The single vs double washer thing is - single 2007-2012 / double 2013+
They must be molded off the early hoods.

I'm thinking about bringing in either the poison spyder hood louvered vent, or the Daystar centre and side vent combo....the PS one being a LOT cheaper.

Yeah, thats what has me thinking about the Daystar one...the hood "bulge" style vent and the two side vents look good, especially when painted up body colour.

If I go with the Poison Spyder vent, I'll probably buy a bare one and have it painted.....
