Finally got my snorkel fitted. It is a cheapy off Ebay that tells you to remove the washer bottle. Well I modified it a bit to keep my bottle and plumbed into the plenum air cleaner.
Also shown is the a/c comp removed along with the fan and bracket and shorter fan belt.

Removed the waterpump and inlet pipe to fix a leak (silastic emergency repair lasted 3 years).
Cut an extra thread turn in the pump to seat the pipe lower down in the pump. Sealed it with thread sealer.
Still chasing my transmission problem. Removed the neutral safety switch to have a look. Gasket had turned to plastic and the thing was full of dirt. One of the contacts was badly pitted and couldn't be repaired. Cleaned it and up and refitted for now. Ordered a new one.
Grabbed some dash parts from the wreckers. Need the inside of the glovebox too - do I drill out the rivets to remove the old one?
