2014 CRD Rough idle

Noticed over the past week or so my GC runs rough and a little erratic at idle. Did some testing in brisbane traffic today and it only seems to happen when the A/C is on. Switch A/C off and purrs like a kitten A/C back on and almost feels like its missing like a petrol.

I assume there is some form of idle adjuster to account for A/C running anyone had experience with this before?

It isn't your A/C compressor failing, is it?

I had the same thing, it would rough idle when first started, but become worse if I turned the AC on or put it into gear. I'd just had my fuel filters replaced so thought they may be bad and restricting fuel flow, but got a different mechanic to look at them and he said they were good.

He suggested a fuel system cleaner, I used Penrite. He thought maybe some dirt got dislodged when the filters were being changed.

The fuel cleaner did the job, runs like new again.

Got a new set of filters from Rock and installed on Saturday now purrs like a feral kitten once again. Interesting though I checked my service records and the filters were allegedly replaced last dealer service at 80k klms

Water trap should be drained every 20000ks it is the yellow phillips head plastic plug between filters.Got nearly half a cup of water out of my sons 2014 WK last week
