First of all clear the codes and see if they return. Low voltage can cause all sorts of wonderful codes on these Jeeps.
A stored code is just that, it is not current/active. Its just there to tell you it registered an issue but it went away.
There is only 1 sensor on a CRD's exhaust, the O2 sensor. It reads temp pressure and of course O2, if it was faulty you would have more codes.
C1418 this is related to the front Elsd.
3 possibilities in my mind
1- broken wire to the front diff. There is an electrical connector on the front diff, check that it is plugged in and there isn't a broken wire.
2- The front diff solenoid is open circuit (circuit high) and needs replacing.
3- The wiring loom inside the diff that connects the plug to the solenoid is broken and needs replacing.
The first one can be confirmed & fixed easily, just a visual inspection and repair a wire if needed. The other 2 are a diff out job. Well not out exactly, undo the 3 diff mounts and prop shaft (tail shaft), let the diff hang and you can remove the diff cover to access the solenoid and loom.
If you get to the point that you need to remove the diff cover then have these parts before you start, they are cheap enough and the job will be done there and then.
