yeah I know , but it seems I can not get one on its own all that keeps popping up is press pin type , and there is nothing around here , (a bursons ?)
if I cant dig a single one out , I might have to machine a press pin and bush it , that is though there is enough meat on the rod to do so .

intake manifold off, can get to the back of engine now ,
I hate the heater hoses

HO engine ready to be lifted (then I can get the blasted loom out )
and out to be pulled down and see the damage , hope that number 8 rod is not bad that it can not be machined back into shape !

engine is out , tomorrow will start to strip it down , then inspection of the crank and rods , if possible ill salvage them , if not off to machine shop they will go

I have full set of gaskets from top to bottom , I have new pistons full floating pins and rings and bearings , I have new timing set , new oil pump , new head bolts and big end bolts,
I still hate the heater hoses .

heads and timing cover off , bores look good pistons appear to be tight , (will know when completely striped) semi carbon , oil was black as , be placing block on the stand tomorrow.
