Default trail rated?

hey everyone

just a quick question, is the kj jeep trail rated? i imagine it would be. i saw a jeep trail rated badge on ebay and i thought it would look cool is all. wouldn't make much sense if the kj wasn't jeep trail rated

He's having you on, there are plenty of members here that would have a different view. As I understand the use of the term by Jeep, the vehicle has had to complete the Rubicon Trail during product development. There was a time when Jeep prided itself on its vehicles being trail rated, the more recent offerings are a departure from that strategy. Given the KJ was developed some time ago I believe it is probably 'trail rated' in the Jeep context, however you would need to have all the gear (bash plates, recovery kit, etc). Let's hear from the guys that are out there all the time.

You'll have to have a bit of a thick skin as a KJ owner on this forum, you'll get heaps, but most of it is in good fun.
The KJ's ARE trail rated, and a few guys I know have those badges you talk of.
Welcome mate.
