Default TJ fuel storage and swing away

I'm currently in the planning stages of building a swing away tire carrier for my tj and had the idea of building a jerry can holder for 2 25L cans that will mount to the newly blank tailgate. The question at this point is how much weight will the hinges carry before they start to sag? I know you can mount a good size tire on the door but as i only run 31X10.5R15's I havent got anything bigger to weigh.

I have been toying at the idea of Mounting a Jerrycan somewhere on the rear but my swing away carrier is too close to the tailgate from what I can see, would have to fab something up

I've got around the clearance issue by offsetting either side of the carrier section backwards by 45 degrees. This will give me enough room to fit the fuel cans behind it

i've been tossing around the idea of mounting the whole rear door and the rack for the tire/jerry's as one unit. should be doable with a lot of swearing and failed attempts
