Ok guys have just got off the from from talking to Naturally Queensland -
THERE ARE NO CLOSURES IN BEERWAH STATE FOREST AS AT 7/06/04
as long as you have a permit to traverse you will not get into any trouble, the only closures that may be in place are local wet weather closures so that no damage is done to the roads
also the permits are free to apply for and run for the length of your registration

i thought the powerline track was on crown land , not the state forest land
