Normal 20l Jerry cans are a pita.
I've carried 2x10l plastic fuel cans on the top of the rear wheel arches, strapped to the rear roll cage stays.

Otherwise rotopax fuel cells, which are square and flat , 10-15 cm think dep on size, can be stored in places where normal jerries can't, ie behind rear seat, flat on rear floor etc.

Solutions I've seen are:
Bigger fuel tank, auxiliary tank, jerry cans on a swing away.
Also had a mate that was into dirtbikes use a boat tank strapped to his roof rack.

Avoid the ARB Long Ranger tank at all costs. Biggest regret I've had trying to deal with that mob.
