Default Air Conditioner condenser leaking - anyone??

Moved the beast out of the garage today and found a small puddle of green fluid on the ground, I immediately thought 'coolant' but checked the reservoir and remembered its orange OATS coolant so... not green. I dipped a finger to find it oily, so I had a smell... A/C oil dye. I peered through the openings of my Uneek bar to inspect and found a patch of said green coming from the condenser at the bottom passenger side, there is some sweat on the drivers side too. The car was in at Jeep yesterday for the fuel pump relay and a brake sequel, guess i'll struggle to link the repairs Jeep did and the A/C problem.

Anyone else have or heard of this?

There are no TSB's regarding A/C for my car.

Yep. Mine was replaced under warranty on Thursday! No questions asked. I'd complained about swishing noise you could hear in cabin.

Had to wait two weeks for parts and they took ECB bar off and put it back with no dramas at all. Was afraid they'd charge me for that bit all was good.

Mornington Jeep could not look at, to at least diagnose it and order the parts, for nearly two weeks so they can jamb that, Berwick will look at it Wednesday while Wifey waits, which I'm very happy with. Good service from Berwick CJ.

Frankston / Mornington ain't what they used to be. I go to Knox now, found them to be excellent.

Hi Trailhawk

I have been through the condenser pain on my 2011 Limited. Jeep wanted almost 2K for parts and labour. I ended up buying the condenser online for $500 with the receiver dryer. The Gas and Labour came to $600 ish.

Had it fixed yesterday while doing my 100K service.

Once you see that Green, it will slowly die and you get the swishing sound.

Cheers
